The Old Butter Factory is a heritage building that includes a purpose built function centre which simply oozes character and charm.

The Old Butter Factory's colourful past is clearly visible throughout the venue. Stained glass windows which originally came from St Thomas's Church, now illuminate the walls of the Chapel area. The stage areas have been used for a variety of performances in the past including school plays, cabarets, auctions and more.

Outside the building you will be surrounded by the beautiful landscape that envelopes the property. The venues wharf allows those who prefer to arrive by boat to glide up along the Hastings River and there are several shaded verandas to sit and enjoy the sunset.

Inside, there is room for over 120 guests to dine, a dance floor, a delightful bar area, a chapel area with stained glass windows that create the perfect romantic location for wedding ceremonies and our caring staff and management will ensure your function is a raging success.
